My wife Heather and I are lifers of the Barrington Area.
I grew up next door to my grandparents who had a small farm on the east side of Barrington. I went to Arnett C. Lines Elementary, Barrington Middle School (when there was one) and Barrington High School. I have been happily married for over 20 years and have resided in the same Barrington Hills home for over 18 years.
My wife and I have 3 wonderful children. A sophomore at BHS, an 8th grader at BMS, and a 5th grader at Countryside in Barrington Hills. I know all the nooks and crannies of Barrington and Barrington Hills, and my knowledge and involvement of Barrington Hills are vast.
Employed for over 23 years with the same company, I have worked my way up to Chief Information Officer and serve on their Board of Directors. I have also served on a national car club board for 10 years, of which handles all Midwest states, and served for 2 years on their National Board of Directors.
My free time consists of lots of adventures with my family. From motorsports (big motorsports family), to skiing, snowmobiling, skating, boating, photography, gardening and restoring, driving & racing classic cars.
To me, Barrington Hills will always be home, so it was the clear choice to move back after college at Arizona State University to raise my family here in our community. Barrington Hills is a unique place to live, open air and vast landscapes full of 5 acre lots, too my knowledge no other community has.
We must look to the future, while also preserving this great community we’ve all come to love as our own. I would like to make certain that we remain focused on the budget, protect our residential zoning laws and ensure that our community remains safe and secure for all residents. As a steadfast defender of our 5-acre zoning, I will carefully consider any proposed changes to village ordinances and zoning, evaluating long-term impacts, and unintended consequences. I will do this with a focus on protecting property rights, open space, safety and privacy.
