We are your neighbors, and, like you, moved here to enjoy a peaceful and active rural lifestyle. We value our community, celebrate it, and will act to to protect it in every way.

We'll continue to preserve our open spaces and 5-acres minimum zoning. We'll continue to work with area leaders to halt encroachment and development around Barrington Hills. We'll continue to save money, reduce taxes, and make our government more efficient.

Brian Cecola

Brian has been a member of the 60010 community for 54 years. He has been actively involved in several Barrington groups and non-profit organizations because he feels it is important to support the area you live in by either volunteering, investing or simply enjoying an afternoon embracing the many activities available within the open spaces of our community.

David Riff

As a lifelong resident of Barrington Hills, David has a true understanding and care for the community. He is committed to service and is dedicated to the betterment of 60010. A family man with 3 school age children, there is nothing more important to him than the preservation and future of this great area. He is an avid listener and is focused on the need for defending the community’s rights, safety and privacy.

Tom Strauss

While in Barrington Tom has been committed to serving his community and has been giving of his time, knowledge and experience in those roles. Tom served as a member of the Fox Point Board of Directors for three years where he chaired the Lake Committee and served on its Executive Board. Currently, Tom is a Board Member and Treasure of the Paganica Home Owners Association.

Laura Ekstrom

As a 25-year resident of Barrington Hills and lifelong resident of Barrington, Laura is running to actively support and continue a positive, fiscally responsible, and thoughtful stewardship of our unique village. She is dedicated to preserving our five-acre zoning and is committed to being impartial and inclusive, considering our village residents as neighbors instead of factions. Laura served for six years on the Village’s Communication Committee, from 2008-2014, where she helped bring transparency to Village communications, improved marketing to residents, and provided policy feedback on many issues and ordinances being introduced.
